We take your privacy seriously. In plain language: we do not sell, rent, or trade your data or your customers’ data — ever — and we do not use it for anything other than operating this service for you.The information you and your team enter belongs to you. We’re simply the software that stores and organizes it on your behalf.
This policy explains how Mechanic Dispatch, operated by The Coker Companies, LLC (DBA Coker Tech)(“we,” “us”), handles information when you use our web and mobile applications (the “Service”). It applies to the businesses that subscribe to the Service (“Customers”), their authorized users, and the operational records those users create.
For account and billing information, we act as the data controller. For the operational data your team enters — your own customers, equipment, service calls, invoices, photos, and notes — you are the controller and we act as your data processor: we store and process that information solely to provide the Service to you and under your direction. You are responsible for having the right to collect and use the information you put into the Service.
We use information only to:
We do not use your data for advertising, we do not build marketing profiles, and we do not use your operational data to train AI models.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information or your customers’ personal information with third parties for their own marketing or any other purpose. We do not disclose your data to other subscribers. The only parties who ever touch your data are the infrastructure providers below, acting strictly on our behalf to run the Service.
We rely on a small set of trusted vendors, each bound to protect your data and use it only to provide their service to us:
We may also disclose information if required by law, to comply with valid legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and the Service.
We protect your data with industry-standard safeguards: encryption in transit (HTTPS), strict per-tenant isolation so one company can never see another’s data (enforced at the database level), role-based access controls, and scoped access keys. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and to promptly address any issues.
Depending on where you are located, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Because much of the data in the Service belongs to our Customers, if you are an individual whose information a Customer stored, please contact that business directly; we will assist them in responding. To exercise any right, or if you have questions, contact us at support@rentcoker.com.
You can delete your account and its associated personal data in any of three ways:
Deleting a user account removes that person’s profile, sign-in credentials, and push notification tokens. Operational records the user created — service calls, maintenance history, invoices and job photos — belong to the subscribing business and are retained under that business’s account, as described in “How long we keep data” above. A business closing its own account may request full deletion of those records at the same address.
The Service is a business tool and is not directed to, or intended for use by, children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you within the Service. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
